On the first play of OU's second offensive series, Bradford was sacked and appeared to re-injure his throwing shoulder, which caused him to miss three games.

Bradford first suffered the injury in the season opener against Brigham Young. He was diagnosed wtih a third-degree separated shoulder.

Bradford, who returned back last weekend against Baylor, said two weeks ago doctors had told him he had a minimal chance of re-injuring the shoulder.

He was taken to the Cotton Bowl sidelines by the team's training staff. But instead of being taken to the locker room, Bradford was able to resume throwing some on the sidelines.

Redshirt freshman Landry Jones has replaced Bradford in the lineup.
