Manny Pacquiao defeats Miguel Cotto in a TKO in the final round as the referee stopped the fight 55 seconds into the 12th round. Pacquiao sat with ESPN for a post fight interview which you can see below. Pacquiao amazingly wins his seventh title in seven different weight classes.
Cotto came out strong in the first round but Pacquiao was able to hang in there and started to turn the tide around the sixth round. From there Pacquiao went on the offensive and started attacking Cotto rather than retreating and defending against Cotto's punches.
Manny Pacquiao now moves to 50 - 3 - 2 with 38 KO's and Miguel Cotto drops to 34 - 2 with 27 KO's. Now the talks start up about a Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather fight which everyone wants to see and would net both fighters a huge pay day.
